Skirt & sweater from Garage
Happy Monday! Today you can win another fun item from Garage, my cozy knit sweater! I love its 70s vibe paired with a button up denim skirt! Visit their website to enter here.
My first weekend in Toronto has been really nice! I'm staying with friends and they're showing me all around the city! It's honestly the best thing in the world to meet new people and discover new places! The city is full of great coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries, I've been eating non stop and not complaining.. I'm also starting my new job today... very excited!

By the way, I only have 1 more day in Montreal, heading to Toronto tomorrow morning. It feels so weird to be leaving home... I'm going to miss it a lot, but I'm excited for what's coming next! xx Cam

Making Moves
vintage jean jacket / H&M turtleneck / vintage leather pants / Zara shoes / Forever 21 backpack
So I have some news, I've decided to move to Toronto, and it's happening in exactly a week from today. A new job opportunity came up and I decided to take it! It's going to be a big change leaving my home and my friends here in Montreal, but also a great one because I'll get to travel (A LOT) and honestly, that's all I've been thinking about since this summer!
It's all happening so quickly, but it's a good thing, because I dont have time to think and change my mind ;) More details on that later.. I have a lot to do before the move!
Wish me luck :) xxxxx Cam

Jardin de Lumières
Last night, I went to the Montreal Botanical gardens, every year around this time they set up a series of hand crafted lanterns all throughout the Chinese Garden, depicting scenes from myths surrounding Chinese New Year. All the bright lights and colours reminded me of Burning Man, it was so beautiful, wild but serene at the same time.
It was chilly out and there was an amazing smell of pastries or fresh bread in the air, I have no idea where it came from, we never did find the bread, but it put us in a wonderful mood the whole night haha. I really recommend that you go and see it, its on every night until November 1st, more info here.

Flares for the Win
Zara Leather jacket / American Apparel turtleneck / Forever 21 jeans / / vintage belt / Zara shoes & bag /
Okay, so I can't get enough of flare jeans right now and I'm sure I'm not the only one! I love styling them a little 70s with a kimono and oversized shades or a little western like so!
I'd also like to thank the universe for the ongoing "undone denim hem" trend, I'm a tall girl and this has become the solution to all my short pant problems!

Burning Man 2015 Photo Diary
Three weeks ago, I flew to the west coast, first stop; Black Rock City, Nevada for my second burning man experience. This time around was really different of me, I focused less on partying and more on making connections with the amazing souls around me. Taking a second to breathe and be happy, discovering everything the city has to offer and taking it all in through my eyes, ears and heart.
The creative idea behind burning man: picture in your head the craziest, most magical surreal thing you can dream of, and then actually go out there, build it, share it with the world, then burn it up and start over again. Here is just a glimpse of what I saw during those 7 days in the desert.
I can't tell you how many times I had to stop in my tracks, look at the world around me and say in complete disbelief: What the fuck. I love this place. It's my happy place, and I want to take a piece of it home with me. I think it's really easy to forget what is really important, and Burning Man helps remind me of that; being happy, no matter what that involves, making others happy, giving love without expecting anything back, forgiving, moving on, appreciating every single moment you are alive because it is truly a blessing.
