Kings of the Road
Calvin Klein coat / thrifted t-shirt / American Apparel jeans / H&M hat / Steve Madden booties
This was my school outfit for the day, I like to dress comfortable and casual for class, which usually means leggings or skinny jeans paired with a loose tee. I found this particular one at a thrift store yesterday and cut off the sleeves, I really like the trucks on it and it reads "Kings of the Road", so badass haha.
It was such a windy day today, I wore my new hat for the first time (big mistake), I love it but it flew off my head about 20 times!! These photos were taken at the Park of the Canadian Centre for Architecture right next to my school. It's a fantastic location for shoots and has a great view of the city!

Furco
These were taken at Furco a few weeks back, I never posted them since I forgot to take outfit photos that night, but this food is too beautiful not to share and so are my gorgeous friends Marie and Charlotte! For dinner; oysters, flounder tartare with avocado and mango salad and horse carpaccio with portobello and parmesan. YUM!

White Winter
Thrifted sweater / H&M skirt / Zara booties / BCBG ring
Playing around in the snow before heading to the office this weekend! I wore this super 90's velvet popcorn sweater and my new patent leather pencil skirt. I'm really liking the mix of textures, it's a good way to give more depth to a black on black outfit!
We've been getting extremely cold weather and a lot of snow here in Montreal, I wish I could stay in and cuddle instead of freezing my face off! Enjoy the rest of your week xx

Vampire Nights

My black and red outfit from the other night reminds me of Dracula, especially with my pale skin! Very dramatic! Haha :)
My sister gave me this top for Christmas, I love everything beaded or sequined so this one is right up my alley and the scallop trim is so cute! I can't wait to wear it again with a skirt and a pair of pointy black pumps.

Happy sunday readers! This is what I wore to the office yesterday, I like the mix of textures from the ribbed sweater and the pleated skirt. Very simple and comfortable, no jewelry, a slick bun and my new Zara pumps, love them!

Today's Purchases

Sale season at Zara is a very dangerous time... luckily I managed to leave with only 2 pairs of shoes for almost half the original price!
I fell in love with the cap toe pumps when I first saw them but thought they were sold out until today (the only pair left and they were my size), it must be fate!! The half patent half suede booties will be perfect for the warmer winter days to come. I can't wait to wear them with skinny jeans and a leather jacket!

The Art of Motion

The other night, I decided it was about time for some winter activities and went ice skating in Montreal's Old Port. I hadn't been skating in years and actually managed not to fall, success! The city is so beautiful at night, all lit up and covered in snow. :)
Later, brunch at Restaurant l'Avenue; eggs benedict with steak and mushrooms covered in spicy hollandaise sauce. I have no words to describe how delicious that was! I couldn't resist taking a photo of their amazing washroom, the murals are really impressive under the black light. The decor and delectable food have definitely made l'Avenue my new favorite breakfast spot in Montreal!

Goodbye 2012, I'm a little late on the New Year wishes, but here it goes anyway... Happy New Year readers, I hope this is the best one yet!!! I don't really believe in New Year resolutions because anytime is as good as any to make yourself better, but this year I told myself I want to think less, do more, be bold & take more risks!
Sadly, I didn't take many photos on New Year's eve, I wore my H&M lime green dress that I wore a few months back in this post, with a gold mirrored belt and my Jeffrey Campbell booties.

Wonderland Photo Diary: Day 1

Just a few photos from the first night of the Wonderland event up north at the stunning Esterel resort! It was a New Year's Eve Eve (yes, that's a thing) lingerie party with Steve Aoki, everyone was wearing flimsy nightgowns and cute pyjamas. I wore a black lace bustier paired with silky high waisted shorts for a flirty pin-up look.
Champagne, red lipstick, breakfast in bed, warming up in the hot tub after making angels in the snow... that pretty much sums up my weekend! Photos from New Year's Eve coming up later. :)
